Bluemel’s Garden Center Return Policies
Bluemel’s does not offer warranties on any retail items. However, we offer a return policy for each of the product categories that we carry in our garden center. We may offer an in-store credit or even-exchange if a cash refund is unwarranted. If you paid for an item by check, we will not be able to refund your money until your check clears, usually 6 -10 business days. Please note that the following return policies pertain to our garden center retail products only. These policies are not connected to our landscape and lawn maintenance divisions in any way. A receipt of purchase must be presented to be considered for a return.
Retail Plants, Seeds, & Bulbs « 24 HOUR RETURN POLICY
Due to the nature of the product(s), Bluemel’s cannot and does not warranty any plant material purchased such as annuals, perennials, rose bushes, herbs, vegetable plants, seeds, or bulbs. However, these items can be returned for a full refund if : the item(s) is returned within 24 hours of purchase, is in the same exact condition that it was purchased, is in the original container or packaging it was sold in, and a receipt of purchase is presented. **Bluemel’s Garden Center reserves the right to refuse any return of plants, seeds, or bulbs if the product(s) being returned fails to meet any or all of the above criteria.
Retail Hard Goods « 30 DAY RETURN POLICY
Bluemel’s does not offer warranties on any hard goods purchased such as tools, pottery, chemicals, bird supplies, or other garden décor. However, hard goods can be returned for a full refund if: the item(s) is returned within 30 days of purchase, is in the same exact condition it was purchased, is in the original packaging it was sold in, and a receipt of purchase is presented. **Bluemel’s Garden Center reserves the right to refuse any return of hard goods if the item(s) being returned fails to meet any or all of the above criteria.
Retail Bulk Products « 24 HOUR RETURN POLICY
Bulk products purchased such as soil, mulch, gravel, sand, or stone can be returned for a refund if: the bulk material(s) is returned within 24 hours of purchase, is free of debris and is in same exact condition it was purchased, and a receipt of purchase is presented. A refund will be given for the amount that is being returned only as determined by the Garden Center. This return policy pertains to picked up product only, not bulk products that have been delivered. **Bluemel’s Garden Center reserves the right to refuse any return of bulk products if the material(s) being returned fails to meet any or all of the above criteria.
Retail Bagged Products « 24 HOUR RETURN POLICY
Bagged products purchased such as bagged soil, mulch, sand, or peat moss can be returned for a full refund if: the bag(s) is returned within 24 hours of purchase, is free of tears or punctures, is in the same exact condition it was purchased, and a receipt of purchase is presented. **Bluemel’s Garden Center reserves the right to refuse any return of bagged products if the product(s) being returned fails to meet any or all of the above criteria.
Retail Straw or Hay « 24 HOUR RETURN POLICY
Straw or hay bales purchased can be returned for a full refund if: the bale(s) is returned within 24 hours of purchase, is intact and in the same exact condition it was purchased, and a receipt of purchase is presented. **Bluemel’s Garden Center reserves the right to refuse any return of straw or hay bales if the bale(s) being returned fails to meet any or all of the above criteria.
Retail Sod « SAME DAY RETURN POLICY
Due to the nature of the product, Bluemel’s cannot and does not warranty sod rolls that have been purchased. However, left-over rolls can be returned for a full refund if: the roll(s) is returned the same day it was purchased, is uncut, intact and in the same exact condition it was purchased, and a receipt of purchase is presented. **Bluemel’s Garden Center reserves the right to refuse any return of sod if the roll(s) being returned fails to meet any or all of the above criteria.
